We need the select element in pages, please
@Jeff_Hager I am trying to remember that you said that there is a workaround for it or I misread but I couldnāt find the thread unfortuently
@Lucas_Pires had taught me that you can right click on a component. It will open a sub-menu, which you can click out of, but it will also open the settings in the right hand panel. I actually use that method quite a bit to get to the component settings. Iāve never really gotten used to using those icons at the bottom of the screen.
That hack doesnāt work in Pages, which is a shame.
Iām sure at some point you could click a component in the left hand panel in Pages, and the associated component in the layout would be highlighted. That was really nice, but it seems to be gone.
Anyway, I loathe that play/select thing. It hijacks my Cmd key and makes me swear. A lot. I really wish we had an option to disable it.
Oh farts! You can tell I havenāt spent a whole lot of time with Pages yet. Iāve recently started by converting one of my side projects to pages, but Iām still pretty new to it.
Its annoying am used to the select to configure filters and move things faster, its a heck of a function that am missing and my speed is less
Agreed! Iāve been asking for āselectā mode since pages first came out. The keyboard shortcut saves me quite a bit of time when building.
