Screen design: Detail Screen with button to a blank screen with access to items details

Hello Gliders,

Because I’m not sure how to describe my question properly, I might have missed existing board entries. In short, I’m trying to add a (floating) button to a detail screen with the goal to create a blank screen on which I can place multiple form buttons.

  • Adding the form buttons directly to the details screen would overload it, hence the workaround.
  • Show New Screen doesn’t allow access to the previous detail screen’s information (required).
  • Show Detail Screen creates a loop.
  • Show Form Screen adds a submit label on the top right corner.

Is there a better way of doing this? Thanks!

It should. Are you using Show New Screen → This item?

Thanks! Looks like I didn’t use Glide for too long and overlooked this option…
