Scanner component is not working on iPhone

Description

  • The Scanner component is not working on iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS version 18.2.

How to replicate

  • Add the Scanner component on an empty screen. The scanner works at Glide Layout. However it does not work after install on iPhone 15 Pro Max. Attached is screen captured of the Glide app that install on iPhone and ran the Scanner screen.
  • Please assist. Thank you.

Does your browser have permissions to use your camera? I had a similar issue with location services, and it turned out that I had previously revoked Safari’s access to my location. Also, the scanner uses updates. You might double check that your plan has updates available.

How did you resolve the issue? I’m sure someone else will have the same problem and could benefit from your experience.

I reinstall the app and restart the iPhone. The scanner component can work as normal.
