Reset button from another table

Hi everyone!
I’m new here and I’m having a bit of trouble setting up a button.

My goal is to create a checklist with a reset button. The problem is that I’m working with two tables instead of one: a parent table, which contains the general information, and a child table, which holds the actual checklist items.

For example — in the main menu I want to see “Mountain vacation”, “Beach vacation”, etc. When I click on one of them, it opens a new screen showing the specific checklist (like “Clothes”, “Shoes”, etc).

I’ve already searched for similar cases, but all the solutions I found are for setups using a single table. Because of that, when I try to set up the reset flow, it only lets me target the parent table, not the child checklist — and I can’t figure out how to properly link them so the button works as intended.

Has anyone run into a similar situation? How did you solve it?

Thanks in advance!

The below solution should work for you, since it does rely on a value stored in a parent table.
