Relink Google Form to Google Sheet

I’ve scoured the internet but maybe I’m missing something. Is there a way I can relink my Google Form to a Google Sheet that I unlinked from by accident? I do not want to create a new blank sheet, but link back to the same one that has the original responses.

This will help me from having to re-create over 30 columns in the GDE, and redo most of my components.

Thanks!

I don’t think there’s a way to do this. Google will always create a new sheet, as far as I aware.

Open the form in edit mode, select Responses, and then click on the 3 dots:

Choose “Select response destination”:

Choose “Select existing spreadsheet”

It creates a new sheet when I do this.

You should be able to select any existing spreadsheet as the destination.

After you click “Select”, it will let you choose the destination sheet from any of your existing sheets.
I know it works, because I’ve done it several times in the past.

Can you select a tab after selecting the sheet?

No, if I recall correctly it will create a new tab called “Form Responses X”.
But you can re-name that.

Yes, that’s what I don’t want.

Ah, I see. Sorry, I misunderstood.
