Relation value to text

Hi Guys,

I’ve noticed that I can’t easily assign a value from the relation type column to a simple text. It’s only possible when picking the choice type.

How do you manage to make it work?

Relations don’t contain specific column values. They contain links to related Rows. If you need a specific value from the related row, then you need a Lookup column.

Sometimes it is hard to switch from Airtable’s logic

Hehe, likewise it’s hard for me to comprehend Airtable logic and how it integrates with Glide. Just haven’t had any experience using Airtable.
