I’d like to request that when a web app is connected to a custom domain, the Glide subdomain automatically redirects to it.
During our beta phase around 2020, both the custom domain and Glide subdomain were active, which confused some users. Although development slowed due to resource constraints, I plan to resume the project and purchase the Maker plan for its unlimited users. Implementing this feature would enhance our brand and improve the user experience.

I also think that if I configure custom domain for my app, the default link should either be disabled or redirect to the custom domain.
I also like this idea, but there is one potential problem. Sometimes a custom domain can break, for a variety of reasons. When it does, the default URL can be used as a fallback option.
So if Glide were to add this feature, I’d want to be able to toggle it on/off.
How eould Glide knows if the url is broken? They would have to make a recurrent service that look for the DNS to make sure it is correctly configured.
They wouldn’t need to know. All I’m suggesting is having an option to manually disable the auto-redirect in the event that the custom domain stops working.
