We wound up re-mapping our 2-3 main app pages that generally change in content with actual “data” driven components. This way buttons, hints, rich text areas on those pages either are populated OR not but still show up during the initial app download.
Should we need to “turn on” one of those hidden structural components we simply head over to our “Admin” page and drop some data in those fields, and presto, those components are now visible to ALL users without the need to recycle the app.
This seems to work for our purposes since those pages have a pre-formatted structural layout from top to bottom, so we now have a way to swap out event letters, videos, buttons, etc. in “real-time”!
