Problems with Login and Mail

Hi,
I’ve released the app for beta testing. Some users can’t access it because they’re using a business email. I can’t upgrade to a business account just for the beta test. Is there any other solution

Other people with a private email only receive this message: This email address does not have access to the app. Please try another one."

Hi Friend,
in my experience, only can use a gmail account

Really? The most people in Germany have GMX, Web or Buisness E-Mails. THats a big Problem now…

GMX is fine.

Hi Jeff, GMX User have a Problem. I dont know why… This email address does not have access to the app. Please try another one."

Which Access i can choose in Settings, that all open Domains run?

Is the app set to public or private? If it’s private, you need to whitelist each user that would access your app. If it’s public, then anyone can sign in, provided your plan allows all email domains or only personal email domains.

I changed it in Public (Required User Profil).

Some People have Problems with that…

Next Problem Case: Hello@Name/Surname.ch / Thats privat Adress in Suisse. / You need upgrade to business for this domain…

If you plan to upgrade to Business/Enterprise later anyway, you can have a 30-day business trial to test your app.

Understandably, Glide wants companies and professional organizations to pay for the platform, since (generally speaking) businesses have more money to spend than individuals. You might argue that names of families and people are a little bit in a grey zone (is the domain that of a company or that of an individual), and I think nobody would argue against this. Many businesses use family names, from big brands (Tommy Hilfiger, Giorgio Armani, no list is very long) to very small business (lawyers, consultants, family businesses, …).

So to make things clear cut, Gmail, iCloud, Hotmail, Outlook, Yahoo, msn, Proton, GMX, AOL, Zoho, university domain names, etc. are seen by Glide to be used by “personal users”, and everything else – names of companies, organizations, groups, families, people – by “business users”.
