Sorry for some bad news. I was hoping it was something that I could fix, but I haven’t gotten that far yet I guess.
If I delete a medication, it puts a blank in the sheet and when you add a new med then the next dosage time reverts to January 1, 1970. I tried restoring and doing it different ways but everything I tried either left me with January 1, 1970 or it would take out the next dosage time all together. It is so close!!!
I took a look at it. Manan Almost has it perfect. Yours makes me put the time in manually, however, I do like how you setup the medicine with the name, time interval and pill description. That was a nice option. With the other one, I do like that the time input is automatic and that when I tap on the med that I put in, I can see the time I took it and the next available time. Another thing that is important is for me to be able to delete a medication or if I had forgotten to put it in, I can add it and put in the proper time. Right now, the problem with the original is that if I delete a pill, then the next pills added have a problem with the interval time. When I look at the sheet, what I notice is that it leaves a blank row and when it adds another row, the time stamp looks weird. I tried deleting the row in Sheets, but it didn’t help.
Fixed it. I have added a column that says “Next Dosage Corrected Format”
That column will have the exact time for the next dose. You might have to recopy my app to see that change. Now it won’t revert to Jaunuary 1. https://medication.glideapp.io/
@Somps
Just updated app based on your feedback. So while adding a dose time is automatically taken and then you have option to edit the datetime by going to particular entry. Also option to add 2nd dose is giving if 2nd dose is not taken. https://likeable-angle-1358.glideapp.io/
Regarding empty row after delete, its how it works in Glide. Check below:
@Manan_Mehta: Need your help in calculating the number of Hours and Minutes left. Below is my formula. As i see it works fine for older dates but for today’s/Future dates, it’s not able to calculate properly. See if you can help here. Just trying to show somekind of countdown though not realtime.
Mann’s, I saw what the other person came up with. So far, yours works great, but one preference that I did like in the other one is that when I add a new med, I like seeing it at the top. I think yours is working pretty good right now. If it is complicated, then Eyeem can keep it as it is but if it’s an easy fix, can we make the newer medicine be added to the top so that the latest taken is at the top? Thank you.
