New apps still generating go.glideapps.com URLs (possible backend issue)

Hi everyone,

I recently created a new Glide account, but I noticed that all new apps I create are still generating Classic-style URLs in the format:

https://go.glideapps.com/app/xxxxxxxxxxxx

From what I understand, Classic Apps were completely deprecated as of June 30, 2025, and new apps should automatically have URLs like:

https://yourapp.glideapp.io

Here is what I have already tried, without success:

  • Cleared browser cache and cookies
  • Used incognito/private mode
  • Tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
  • Logged out and back in
  • Created brand new accounts with different email addresses
  • Tested from different devices (PC, mobile)
  • Tried different networks (home Wi-Fi, mobile tethering)

Despite all these attempts, every new app still generates a go.glideapps.com URL.

This seems like a backend configuration issue with my account or region.

Could someone from the Glide team please investigate why new accounts are still producing Classic URLs, even though Classic Apps are supposed to be unavailable?

Thank you very much for your help!

This is not a Classic-style URL. This is the URL that is used to access your App in the Glide Builder. This has not changed.

Yes, they are deprecated. No, that is not the domain that is used by Glide Apps (it’s actually the domain that was used by Classic Apps). The default URL that is created when an App is published will have the form https://yourapp.glide.page

As explained, they are not. There is nothing wrong here, and hence nothing to investigate.
