Google Analytics is overkill in most cases. Privacy-first alternatives are increasingly an upsell and a strong preference.
Totally agree with that ! Using other Analytics would be really great.
I really like Plausible (as you can self host it). So having an option to use Plausible with the definition of the server would be awesome !

Google Analytics is not an option anymore for us in France if we want to be compliant with GDPR.

I had to remove analytics from a client project last moment and it’s unfortunate 
Been using plausible for other projects and it works great !
