On the Glideapps.com homepage, one of the featured videos shows an interface that I can’t figure out how to build.
What’s the secret to having more than 3 columns, and the ability for that row/record to have an action (all i need is view detail).
3 columns for anything besides a data grid is a significant limitation. So unless datagrid will allow collection item level actions, I can’t think of a way to achieve this showcased design.
It’s not available yet, but hopefully it will be at some point.
Nope, that’s just the datagrid. Notice in my screenshot that it has action buttons inline. That’s not possible in the datagrid.

You can’t add actions to individual rows in the data grid. The marketing is not showing the same data grid that we have today.
This component will be part of a larger release of new components sometime next calendar year (I’ve seen the concepts…they’re beautiful). Might need to wait a few more months though. Just speculation.
No, that’s an action button for the whole table, not inline buttons for each row as they show in the marketing.
