Modern Apple-like UI Style

Hi Glide team,

Would love to see a even more modern UI style in Glide — something closer to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines. Think:

  • More spacing & visual hierarchy, for distinguishing between actionable components and text, like apple settings. (Currently kinda possible background neutral with containers as cards, but this doesn’t work on overlay or slidein.)
    1. Three smartphone screens displaying battery details: charge percentage and usage graph, battery health and capacity information, and charging preferences.

  2. More Blur/background effects like IOS “Liquid Glass”

It would make apps feel even more polished, modern, and user-friendly. I hope this would be possible with glide architecture/p web based apps.

Does anyone else wants this?

Ya…this is frustrating. Card components in slidein/overlay lose their coloring hierarchy.

I would love to see more robust UI customization in the box.

100% agree with this.

Having more modern UI options like iOS-style blur and glass effects would make Glide apps feel much more polished and professional. Right now we can get creative with layouts and colors, but some extra visual depth would really take the design to another level.

For client-facing apps, these subtle design touches can make a huge difference in how the product is perceived. Definitely support this request!
