Missing fields + template structure issues

Hi Glide Team,

We are facing several major issues with our dating app built using a purchased Glide template (“Matchmaker”). We kindly ask for your assistance resolving these problems:
1. “Missing Fields” error on profile confirmation:
Even when all required fields are correctly filled in, the “Missing fields” error still appears, and users are unable to proceed. We have checked the logic and even removed the “Required” status from all fields, but the problem persists.
2. Components reappear after deletion:
Some components (such as the Add button or fields) reappear after being deleted, even though they were previously removed and saved. The layout doesn’t remain stable and resets unexpectedly.
3. Navigation logic – “Join Us” tab should disappear after registration:
Our bottom navigation includes the “Join Us” tab. After a user completes their profile, this tab should disappear and be replaced by “Your Profile,” “Meet Others,” and “Messages.” Right now, the “Join Us” tab stays visible even for fully registered users.
4. App not showing other users anymore:
After earlier adjustments, the list that should show other members now only displays the currently signed-in user, even though the data source (“Admins”) contains multiple users. There are no visibility or filter rules applied, and layout is set to “Cards.”
5. Key root cause – source table changed from “Users” to “Admins” upon import:
The original template used a “Users” table. However, when the template was copied or transferred into our app, the main table changed to “Admins.” This broke most of the logic, since all visibility, workflows, and filter settings were based on “Users.” We believe this is the root of many cascading errors.
6. Request for guidance:
We would appreciate advice on how to stabilize the app:
– Should we revert the table to “Users”?
– Is it better to start fresh from the original template instead of trying to patch what’s been broken?

I would solve this problem first. Have you set up User profiles on the new “Admins” table?

If setting up User profiles on the “Admins” table doesn’t help, please post screenshots on how you’re setting it up, including problems from 1 to 4.

Thank you! I much appreciated your support. When I bought template there was no User table, only Admins and didn’t work when new user want to sign up, Go buttons shows missing fields notice (I didn’t delete any column, only re-name). Than I create Users table but problem is that I cant add Users table column as destination for new entry. Anyhow I tried several things to fix, but I think there is a bug or very old template. I spent several hours and looking for solution, I hope that you can help me on meeting. Thank you.

and I agree that User profile is main issue with all topics, can you share detailed instruction how to fix settings if app have this option? Or its tehnical lock and its not possible or only I got some old version? Advise please.
