Markdown on Google Sheets

I’m trying to Rich Text and adding my markdown on google sheets but can seem to get the text to appear as it should…ie. Bold, Headings. Its jsut showing as regular text. .

Am I doing something wrong or am I not able to use markdown with google sheets. I can’t find much info on this topic.

Are you using a Rich Text component to view the text?

Do you have an example of your text?

I think I found the issue. Thank You though.I was pasting it wrong.
