Map performance poor

I’ve created a map with 5 waypoints and the performance on iOS (iPhone X) isn’t great.

The scrolling performance is fine when viewing on my laptop, but janky when on the device, both when opened in the main Safari app and from the installed app.

Is this something that might be improved, or is it a limitation?

The number of waypoints unfortunately isn’t the limiting factor here. We will be trying to improve this over time but it wont be an immediate solution.
