Omg, I can’t believe that this isn’t easier to figure out. When I imported my data, the first and last names are in two columns and I want to join them together into one column. Despite my best efforts, I can’t seem to figure it out.
Use a template column. Write ‘First Last’ in the template. Add two replacement values. Replace First with the value in the First Name column. Replace Last with the value in the last name column.
How do I proceed past here? I’m trying to link up the first and last names into a single column.
Type ‘First Last’ into the template text.
Then put ‘First’ in your first replacement value.
Add a second replacement value and put ‘Last’ in there.
Point the replacement values to the correct columns.
