Where is the link to this information. I can only see the options as I attached in previous email.
So can you send through a link that explains the plans and provides free month option.
Hi guys, could someone kindly answer my question?
Jeff gave you the link in his previous reply.
Here it is again:
And the link to the pricing page:
This is my favorite topic now in Glide Community!
Appreciate what you are doing:
- listening to the community
- continuous iteration on pricing to make sure a win-win for us all
Go Team Glide! Fighting!
a question on the Custom CSS, will it be extended to the Legacy Pro plans as well?
I’d say that’s extremely unlikely.
Thanks. If we build an app which is:
- 1 training (slides, videos, exercises),
- billed 10 $ per user of a company
- used 2 or 3 times per user in the next 30 days to follow the training.
=> do you agree that we should not build it with Glide? (given the price per private users).
Thanks
Depends. $10 user would still yield a profit, no? And remember, user counts reset each month. So, if a user uses the app a couple of times in one month, but then doesn’t use it again for the rest of the year, they won’t count as a user past that first month
I think this is an important distinction that should be made clearer by the team. That’s a really good benefit for people with larger users counts across multiple apps
As a legacy account holder, can I scale the amount of public users without losing my legacy status?
My app is a FREE GED study app for my students to work at home. People have been sharing my link causing me to absorb more users. I wish to keep it up and FREE, but students will lose out on valuable resources if I have to charge. Most GED students can’t afford to pay for their official test. My school has absorbed the cost multiple times. I’m taking a Codecademy course to learn how to do the actual coding, but it’s going to be MONTHS until I actually break ground on dev.
The Free plans do not allow you to extend the number of users included with the plan.
I have Starter Legacy
These are the limits of legacy plans. They will not change being they are in a legacy status now.
Just for clarification, I can NOT scale more public users or I will be terminating my current Legacy Plan? Basically grandfathering in what I have and nothing can be changed from this point on?
You can scale the number of updates, but no you cannot scale the number of users.
Only the current Team and Business plans allow you to scale users.
Very disheartening. I should’ve used a different company to build with. I’ll start planning my separation shortly.
Don’t rule out the new Maker plan which allows for unlimited personal users. At least see if the plan fits your needs.
I enjoyed the Glide features and ease of use, but I do not want to be subject to price changes like this again in the future. I work for a very small (5 full and part-time employees) school and have covered the $25/month cost because we do not have it in our budget to pay for supplemental learning. We just got approved to start buying IPads. My distance learning was sending YouTube links to students and having them drop off packets that I would later correct and have basically no way of teaching. I finally started talking sense into my Dean for why Tech is so important. Now I am filling up the amount of users from people who have found the link from others. It might not seem like a lot to upgrade, but in Cali our small towns median income with 10.3k residents is $32k. Very difficult to get funding/donations for us, but I am trying to show the community how hard we are working for our students.
I understand now why Glide was started, but my impression was that it helps create a way for you to build a web-based app for any use without knowledge of coding. If I’d have known it was not targeted for social/public use, I’d have never started learning the platform.
Thank you for the update. The updated plans are reasonable.
I’d like to ask the SQL data changes and sync count toward 10K Updates limit (Business Plan)?
So, your school is buying iPads for everyone but $4/user for a custom learning app is somehow too expensive?
