Kicked out of video if phone is turned landscape while playing

Describe the bug:
Videos are displayed on the app. When I tap a video to play it, the video opens to fill the full screen in portrait view, as expected. But if I rotate my phone after the video has begin playing, the video stops and I am taken back out to the Glide app, where I must re-start the video from the beginning.

Expected behavior:

  • Upon turning the phone landscape with the video playing, the video should continue to play as it changes to be displayed in a landscape view.

How to replicate:

  • In the app, go to Tantra > Into Autumn > Autumn - Week 1 > Day 1 and play the video from here.

Please get support from within Glide while the app is open by selecting the “?” button at the bottom right. That will bring you to a support page, which currently has an “Open Support Ticket” link.
