IsSignedInUser doesn't work in template/if then else columns

My app’s URL: itemstore.glideapp.io

If an email address is the resulting value in an if-then-else column, or if an email address is the value in a template column then Glide will not allow the “isSignedInUser” value in the filter for a component. However, if I do a relation and then a lookup of that same value, the lookup column will allow me to select “isSignedInUser”.

Is this expected behavior? Thanks!
