Is there an in-app notification when the 500 row limit is reached?

I am building a user app and admin app based off 1 sheet, with the ability for users to add their own data to the user app.

If the user data causes the app to hit the 500 row limit, will they be notified in the app? Or will the data just stop being submitted?

Who gets notified and how?
