Hello, I’m a no-code teacher and so far Glide Was my favorite app to showcase.
Yesterday I tried to make my students publish their first demo but they couldn’t. A pop-up window ask them to upgrade.
Isn’t Glide free anymore ?
Thank you for your help
If you’re using Glide in the classroom, you can still have students building in Glide on the free plan, and sharing their work by running demos via the fully interactive device preview.
Those could be done live or prerecorded, e.g. with Loom, Zoom, or Tella.
Explorer and Maker plans are also available for education, nonprofit, and personal use.
Good morning Andy. I am a highschool design and technology teacher. I have about 20 students I need liecences for. What is the best package / plan that you would recommend. Thank you
Hello Richard, the free plan is still an option and it would allow your students to discover Glide and how to build with no-code. Though they would be able to preview their apps in the layout editor, they would not be able to publish their work.
Should you need to review their work as their teacher, you could ask them to publish their app as a template and share it with you that way. Using the template feature is how editors on free accounts share their work with other editors.
