Integrate PostgreSQL with Glide

How frequently does Glide APP synchronize with a PostgreSQL database according to the most recent update? Is synchronization an automatic step or a manual step e.g. clicking of a button? Additionally, does this integration allow changes made in the Glide table to be automatically updated in PostgreSQL, and vice versa?
