šŸ•µļøā€ā™‚ļø In Staging - Spying All New Features in Glide

At least it’s not just me for a change

Is this so that HTML/CSS or images can get embedded correctly?

I think it’s going to take a while until we get this as this is more complicated encrypting.
I found a way to base64 encrypted in Google sheet without code a few month ago

Me neither

You can always count on me!

Woohoo! We can now rename Google Sheets in glide (staging)

Edit: By Google sheets I mean individual sheets, not the entire spreadsheet

You’re correct, it’s not always you, sometimes I find stuff as well. It’s exhilarating!

Assuming this will make Quickchart URLs easier to deal with as well.

I guess the protocol allows you to open apps natively.

For example :

  • URL for Notion open in browser : https://www.notion.so/…
  • URL for Notion open in app : notion://www.notion.so/…

And cloudinary.

WOW

Also, staging just got a completely new styling!

OMG! The user cookie thing! This is what it does!

I’m not sure that this is anything particularly new?
Glide already keeps users signed in - I suspect this is more of a regulatory thing. GDPR, etc…

Correct. The new functionality is for a user to automatically be signed out if they don’t check the box.

Can’t remember where I read about this (not on this forum) but as you say believe it’s to do with GDPR. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong :expressionless:

It’s kinda like sitting at the kid’s table at Thanksgiving and trying to understand what the grown ups are discussing at the other table…

 :100:

Probably, Europeans and privacy policies…

They just pushed the new styling to production!
There are a few design bugs when in dark mode @Mark

edit: scratch that, a lot of design bugs
