In-App Filtering List download

Hi guys,

It would be very useful to have a download button (or create a csv file) in the title bar actions, allowing users to export the current table data based on the applied in-app filters.

Thanks!

I want to make sure I understand correctly. You are talking about having an export CSV action from filtered table?

Hi Maxine, right! Only on filtered rows.

There is a way to do it by using query column. But I agree with a native way of exporting in-app filtered data.

Please do elaborate. I am interested to know more on how..

that’s a nice video Idea

I think Maxime is referring to the method where you use a custom filter with a query, then use the query as the source of a CSV download.

Doesn’t work with the In App filters though, so is tangential to this request.

Are you still interested to know how to do it with custom filters?

Aha, noted. Thanks Darren, i thought he meant the in-App filter.

Always interest to learn new ways of doing things. I used to use a similar system, i think it was shared by Robert, but it consumed a lot of updates (at the time, any edit to the data editor, was an update). so i stopped using it. I am however interest in your approach as well

That’s no longer the case, as long as you’re using native tables with a newer (not Legacy) plan.
