Image titles don't work when they're in a container

Hey there,

So, you all know how image titles have their image expanding into the status bar, right? Like this:

It turns out that, when they’re placed in a container that has an image background, they don’t work quite as beautifully.

The breadcrumb/status bar area is instead replaced with the app’s style. In this case, it’s set to accent.

Is there a way to fix this so that when the image title is placed inside an image container it works normally? This doesn’t happen on normal, highlight, dark or accent containers.

Thanks,
— Dias

I’m not sure it’s by design, but are there any reasons you can’t use the old setup of image titles without the container?

We run a game sharing website and one of the features we have implemented are custom backgrounds for users to add. We use a blurred image container to have those custom backgrounds. Needless to say our users wouldn’t be very happy if we removed that

I agree. Wish they behaved the same way in slide-in/overlay screens as well.
