How to extract entries from a "Split Text" column into 2 new single value columns?

I am capturing multiple user selections into a Text column and then using Split Text column to create multiple comma separated components like in below screen:

But when I am trying to store these individual components into separate columns, I used single value column but its not working. Please see the screen below and suggest how to rectify this?

Have you tried the “single value” column to select the first or last column of your array.

Yes, I tried that combination as well but still getting the same result.

You must go directly to the subprocess1 column, not to the sheet again.
