I accidentally deleted the picture from my glide app yesterday and the problem is that it did not survive in the table. Is it possible to somehow restore it?
Do you have a recent backup or copy of the App?
Which data source are you using?
Images are stored in the Glide Data editor as URLs. The actual images are stored in Google Cloud.
When you delete an image, all that is removed is the URL (the link). The image itself is retained for about 30 days, and then it will be removed only if there are no Apps that reference it.
So, if you can recover the URL, then you can recover the image. Which is why I asked the questions abaove.
There is no backup copy, and the file was uploaded and stored using a reference link: https://storage.googleapis.com/glide-prod.appspot.com/
You didn’t answer my question about which data source you are using.
If by chance your App is connected to a Google Sheet, then you should be able to recover the link from the version history.
If you are using Glide Tables, then you are most likely out of luck.
Aaa, the app is connected to google sheet
Cool, so all you need to do is go through the history until you find the link, then copy/paste it back into the current version of the sheet.
