How to add a payment method on a free account

Hello! I have created my account with my business email but I would like to switch it to my personal email. Looking for a solution I have try this topic solution

" This is what I would recommend:

  • Create a new Glide account using your business email
  • Select a plan and add a payment method. Important: you must add a payment method, even for a free plan.
  • Invite your personal email to your new team and make yourself an Admin
  • Transfer any Apps that you have in your personal account to your new account
  • Delete your personal account

But I don’t know how to add a payment method on my personal free account.

Go to billing and manage the team plan from there.

I am gone in the team billing and into “manage plans” but I do not find free plans, only paid ones.

Are you trying to add a payment method because it’s restricting you from doing something, or because you are following old instructions? If you don’t need to add a payment method, then don’t worry about it.

I am looking for migrate my apps from my business account to my personal account,
this si a reply for a similar issue that I have try here in a solved topic

So I have try but now I can’t complete migration if I don’t buy a business plan.
Can I add a payment method on my free plan?

Would you still want to pay for a business plan on your personal account? I guess yes to keep the app running?

For the moment I’m only learning Glide, it’s new to me but I’ve been using Ninox in my company since 2016, I’m testing Glide to understand if I can be able to transfer the company management system to it or not. At the moment in my company, the partners are not all convinced to migrate to another system and I would therefore like to move the little I have done on Glide to my personal account because I like Glide and I would still like to continue preparing to propose it again when it is improved and complete (now the app I made is a small draft) and probably it be accepted. Most likely I will do a paid plan in a few months, for personal or for business, time to get to know and understand if I am capable, but first I would like to finish studying.

Ok, off the top of my head I’m not quite sure if you can follow those old instructions anymore. Like you mentioned, it doesn’t appear that you can add a payment method without subscribing to a plan.

I do find it odd that you are unable to transfer an app between free teams because I feel like I’ve always been able to do that.

Regardless, I guess I would suggest creating a private template of your app. Then share that private template with yourself and load it into your new team.
