How do I add an empty new row on top of the first row? See screenshot

Hey guys how do I add an empty new row on top of the first row? See screenshot See screenshot

Many thanks

The only way to do it in glide is to add a new row and copy the data in existing rows down. If this is a google sheet table, then you can easily add a row in the Google sheet.

Can I ask why you need to add a row to the top instead of adding it to the bottom?

Hey Jeff thank you so much for this solution. The reason why i need a row on top some times is because i need important information at the top thats why.

Ok, I was just asking because if it’s a matter of sorting for display purposes in the app, there ways to do that without the data necessarily having to be in a specific order in the table. A lot of times it’s easier and more scalable to control the sorting of the data, rather than shuffle the rows in the table each time you add a new row. I was thinking that you could numerically number each row in the order that you want, and then sort that list in the app based on that numerical order.
