How can I insert new row and open edit form on that newly inserted row?

Wouldn’t it be easier if the action on your button was Show New Form?

Let me check. Although I think it will not open form of this inline list sheet. Let me make sure

It will open a new form and you can point it to any table you want. Then you just need to put the entry components and default values in.
