Quick thanks to Glide again.
For the last 2 months I have been buried at work trying to get to grips with a new forecasting tool recently rolled out across the company. My task was to use it to lead the forecasting effort. The model was cloud based, hugely complicated and unstable to use with sync delays, glitches and user issues. The main issue was the horrendous complexity - requiring a zillion inputs data sets - that ultimately undermined confidence in the output.
Last Saturday I had had enough. I rolled up my sleeves and after 12 hours I had built a simplified model using Glide. It worked beautifully. The tabs, the new charts and the data grids came together so well. Importantly it successfully generated much needed business critical analysis - and proved super easy to use, It is streamlined, stable and fast. This caused much discussion and today our stakeholders embraced the new solution. A lifesaver for our work and my sanity.
