Glide's new simplified + enhanced plans

Glad to hear about the new business plan. The Big Table, API and upcoming Scheduled workflows are very welcomed changes.

The only hair in the soup is the user limit. I’m still holding on the Legacy Team plan because of this. The 30 user limit caters only to businesses using Glide for internal use. I have around 10 staff members that use the app regularly to manage things. Then I have 200-300 monthly customers that log-in to check on their order status once, maybe twice. I don’t mind paying per user for my actual staff members, but it’s not realistic to pay $5-$6 for every single user that logs-in.

I’ve never understood Glide’s decision to restrict users so much, especially on the business plan. It would make more sense if they did unlimited personal users and 30 non-personal users on the business plan. Another option is to only count users that log-in more than x times/days in a month. I know Glide has it’s goals/reasons for doing this, but surely there’s a way that this can work for more than one type of business structure.

Hello, happy new year :sparkles:

I stumbled upon your comment and found it spot on. On the current Business plan, I find the limit on users a little restrictive, though I understand the principle.

What I will never understand is the concept of “personal users”. The concept does not exist and one needs to not miss the fine print on the pricing page. It’s not ideal but it is what it is.

EDIT: I just noticed how old the post I replied to is. I read November, but I’m off by a year
