Glide Dev environment stuck in 'scrolling'

Yesterday I somehow got Glideapps Dev into a mode where I couldn’t see the whole window. I kept having to scroll left-right and up-down to see the entire screen.

Thanks to ChatGPT here is what worked to fix it (after changing size of screen, closing the App and going back to the dashboard/reopening and reloading Glide - still wouldn’t work correctly)

Fastest “Do This First” Combo (30 seconds total)

  1. ⌘ + 0

  2. Ctrl + ⌘ + F (fullscreen toggle twice)

  3. ⌘ + Shift + R

That’s it. Fixed the scrolling weirdness. Figured I would share in case it happens to someone else.

What mode are you talking about?

Well…hard to describe but it just happened again. I was working in Glide and the Dev environment no longer ‘fit’ on my screen/monitor. To get to the ‘bottom’ of the screen (where the (data) button is) I had to scroll. To get to the right where the component details are I had to scroll.

By entering CMD-0 Glide got back to ‘normal’ where normal is the Glide Dev chrome tab is ‘locked’ (e.g. the Dev environment doesn’t scroll) but the screen inside scrolls based on its size.

In my case the entire Glide Dev tab had to be scrolled to get to the various Glide Dev tools.

Hope this make sense.

Is it possible that you zoomed in on your screen and this has nothing to do with Glide? Maybe you did some combination of a special key on your keyboard and doing something on your track pad?

No in regards to zooming in - first thing I thought of but I didn’t zoom today. Probably something with the browser…I haven’t tried Safari so I don’t know if it weirds out too.

This had never been an issue before but it has happened twice in two days. Just happy to have a simple fix.
