Glidd app to Apk implications

Hi everyone
Id like to ask on discussions I have seen on converting a glide app to an APK. What does this entail?

Firstly, my app is made for a community and is subscription based and because of that I’d prefer maintaining online status or limited offline use to enable online interaction of users and online subscription.

I also hope the conversion would allow device local storage especially for faster loading of components such as containers and their content. Would thus be the case?

I have seen several options for such a conversation, which route/ platforms are recommended?

Lastly if I am to make this conversion, will it still be a glide app? What happens to my glide subscription?

Thanks for answering my many questions in advance

Think this guy knows how to do it. There’s no officialy recommendation to do this though.

My app is in the Google play store and I haven’t noticed any increase in speed. I would actually lean towards chrome being the fastest loading medium.

Someone previously recommended Amazon App Store as a way of getting a free apk version of your app. I tried it and i was in fact able to download a free apk file of my glide app. However, since my intention was to use it in the Google Play Store, which no longer allows upload of this file type, I never really put the apk file to use. I can confirm that it opened in BlueStacks without any problems.

Even if you convert to apk (or aab if you go in the Google Play Store direction), your app is still a glide app and works the same way (it has just been placed into a wrapper of sorts). You will need your glide subscription and will be bound to the same limits… Changes you make in the Glide editor affect your app immediately or according to your Glide publishing status.
