Get the count of rows by date and booleans, check in system

I have a simple table:

And Im trying to get the count of Rows by date and by First/second game for this Table.

Any suggestions on how this might be accomplished?

Im trying a bunch of different things from different posts to put something together and now I have the Count difference between the Booleans (First Game / Second Game) counted.

Now I believe I need to separate them by date somehow?

What you need to do is create a template column of the two columns you need to “combine” to apply your rollup. Make a template of the user’s email (or other unique identifier) and the date (you may also want to “lock” in the date formatting by first creating a template column that stores the date as text first — this might not be necessary, but it’s still something I do in these cases).

Once you’ve got the template column (i.e. email@email.com April 1, 2021), create a multiple relation that check if the template matches itself. Then, create a rollup on this relation to get the sum of all the matches.

What is your ideal outcome? I’m not sure what you’re trying to do here. Is it a count of first games and seconds games for each player?

The intention is to create a checkin system for players and somedays there are 2 games. Once a player is checked into a game I need the count (amount) of players that played.

Some will only play one game. And other may play both games.

I just stumbled across this video although not exactly what I need because they use today but close enough I think I may be able to tweak it
