Language and Regional Locale settings should be automatic based on your browser an OS settings. Make sure you system is configure for German.

I’m not sure what does is does not get converted. It’s supposed to be the case, but there may be missing pieces. If it doesn’t automatically translate, then yes, you may need to use alternative solutions.

Would really appreciate a list of things that do get translated, and I believe many people would be willing to help to translate more, if needed.
