Filters getting out of hand

I am a music teacher and I am creating a library where users can select the style of each piece of music (such as “march, lyrical, folk, pop”). I’ve allowed multiple selections in case something is a “lyrical folk” tune, but when I go to use the filter, I now see options to filter for “lyrical,” “folk,” and “lyrical, folk.”

As more pieces are added that combine more styles, the filter is getting out of hand. Is there a way to filter only one style at a time? For example, I only want an option for “lyrical” that will show all “lyrical,” all “lyrical folk,” and all “lyrical pop” tunes?

Sounds like you are putting multiple styles as a comma delimited list in each music row. Create a Split Text column that converts that comma delimited list into an array. Then use that split text array in your in-app filter instead of the comma delimited text column.
