Or at least the option: now or earlier/now or later

That should already be the case. Look for the Range setting in the component configuration.

I have “today” but not “now”.
today or later, not now or later…

Btw, in general, on every app i made, users struggled with date/time component… UI is beautiful but not easy to understand/use unfortunately.
I guess the ideal would be to have a date component AND a time component.

Ahh, so you want to restrict the time as well as the date. Now I understand.
