Editing the Employees template

I wonder if anyone could help on this. I’ve set up an app using the Employees template. But I can’t figure out how I can do a small edit to show the total number of staff on the first page of the app.

Basically on the template where it says staff I’d like to put the number of staff next to it. Is it possible?

You can have rollup on the staff sheet to count the number of staffs, then use a template to combine the number and the “staff” text. However as I take it you want to change the name of the tab, which is not currently possible. You can display it as a text in a details view though.
