Hello people of the community. I would like to know if there is any way to give a button double function. For example, the same button that says “buy now”, when pressed and the action is completed, change its text to “purchase made”. Thank you all as always. Best regards.
Compound actions can do that, but can you specify what actions you want to dynamically display on the button name?
You can have an increment action somewhere in there and an if then else to dynamically display the name, for example.
Hi how are you. Yes, look, I’m interested in adding to the “Buy” button a text that says “Purchased” when the button is activated. I don’t know if this will be possible. I ask why sales applications like Mercado Pago (in my country) have this action in their buttons. To be more specific: the “buy” button (before buying) is in light blue with the legend: buy.
Once you click on it, it changes color to green and its internal text changes to: purchased.
It’s just a question that came to me yesterday, that’s why I asked if it could be done. Thanks for your quick reply. Cheers
Hi @Pablo_Reyna,
How are you confirming the purchase?
If you have Zapier or another way to get the purchase to the google sheets, you might want to create a relation.
- create a template with Current user email and item in the “store tab”
- create another template with the email and the event in the purchase confirmation tab
- create, on the “store tab” a relation that matches those two template.
- create an ITE:
If the relation is empty, then Buy Now, Else Purchased.
You might also want to create an action for that botón where you have a condition> If relation is empty > buy now (action) else> reshuffle or none action
I hope this works.
Hello my friend Santiago, I am the same Pablo from the Latin nocoder community (I have my personal account here). Thanks for your help as always. I am going to prove what you propose, I am not using the reasoning with which Glide works that I should use to solve the doubts. Thanks friend as always best regards.
Hooray! Another Pablo!
There’s too many Pablo’s. I keep getting confused.
How many Pablos now?
Well at least 3, I think, that are actively participating in the forum.
We are three, and counting!!!
I normally don’t read names in the forums, I kind of identify people from their icons and recognize them that way. Pablo_Books I see all the time. But the more the merrier, welcome Pablo and hi to the other Pablo…and to you as well Pablo
…says the guy who changed his icon twice in the past week…
LOl, that’s why I did it. To see if anyone else does that. I honestly just thought about that a couple of days ago and wanted to see if people scan forums like that or not. I was actually surveying something for an app and Jeff ruined it
At least your username is unique.
My username is something I came up with in 2001 as a teenager with IRC chat…just never wanted to get rid of it. (I say teenager, I was 20 years old…the shame)
I hear ya. Did the same back in the day. A one off chat user name became the basis of my usernames for a long time. Eventually changed to a different username that I use for different things. Mostly just use my name now.
Hmmm…If I use my name now no one online…anywhere…would know who I was…
That and as of February of next year it will be half my life I’ve used this tag name…it’s a part of me…Jeff, how dare you suggest I take that away!!! What kind of monster are you!! Just kidding…yeah, I can’t not use it, I’m addicted.
Hehe, it’s your brand. Long live Drearystate!
