It would be interesting in the data grid component to see a subtotal of the column values (which would update the value according to the filter selected by the user)
Use case: I’m making a payroll using glide, it would be interesting if I want to see the subtotal of the payroll by filtering only the coordinators for example, similar to an excel table
You could use a second Data Grid component with a single row that just shows the totals.
However, to get dynamic updating you would need to bypass the native filters and create your own.
That said, I think there is a fair chance we will get the functionality that you are looking for (or something very similar) in the not too distant future.
It’s a great idea, I hadn’t thought of it, but it would be interesting if one day this component evolved so that it became simpler as I said, but for now I’ll try to do as you suggested
