Conclusion of the final calculations

It would be fabulous to have the ability to display summaries at the bottom of the table column, just as it is set up in Notion or AirTable. Moreover, the filters configured in the table affect the summaries. Such functionality allows for flexible and swift generation of reports for any data arrays.

The new tables are splendid. It’s a pity that you can’t set a column name with a value from the database, although this was available in the test version. And the column summaries.

Such additions would be priceless.

Please vote for this proposal. Working with data arrays using the built-in filter and search should provide filtered list results. Otherwise, we end up with a useless list of elements that offers nothing but navigation.

How to check tax expenses?

Filter payments by the “Taxes” category, take a calculator, and add up the entire list. Yes, it is that sad :frowning:

When working with tables, this is basic functionality. I did not invent this. Look at Excel, Google Sheets, Notion, AirTable, and other table tools. This is fundamental, folks. Has no one encountered this annoying limitation?

A table without totals is just a list.

You can also use a rollup column and a big numbers component to display a sum. The sum won’t be on the last row of the table as you wish, but you can sum in Glide directly.

Sure, I can, but it will work on the entire data array without considering the filters and search. The point is that when working with a data array, it is assumed that data is selected using filters and search. But right now, this selection is just a list :frowning: without any totals or summary figures.

It’s also possible to create interactive filters using QUERY columns, but that’s a whole story for each report. Extremely inefficient :frowning:
