Greetings All!

I have been working on this app for a few weeks now and have been loving all the different features I’ve been able to add. For a novice like myself, the app is fairly basic and that’s where my request comes in. For those of you with the experience and such, what features/adjustments could I make to my app really help to elevate it that much more? I’m getting great feedback from the community I’m in, but would like to continue to improve it as much as I can.

Nice one :point_up: congratulations :partying_face:

Just a few minor things I would do but it’s subjective and just a personal thing.

You will soon learn what does and doesn’t work when users start to interact with the app so keep it simple to start with.

Don’t waste time building stuff people don’t want or will use.

So here goes

Suggestion One

  • What will happen at the event?

  • How long is the event for?

  • Does it cost me anything?

  • Instead of link to event have a button ‘find out more’

Suggestion Two

  • Put the address line above the map (as opposed to above the phone) as they are associated data items.

  • Tell me what the business does

  • Maybe introduce the new button bar feature. One button links to email the other links to the website

Suggestion Three

  • Make it easy for me to suggest a business. (Don’t know how to do it from the screen) just a button to a form would be useful

  1. Events - I made the change from link to button as you suggested. Much cleaner look, thank you! I’m currently pulling events from local FB pages as contribution from the community is ramping up. I hope to add more detail in the future, but with having to do the inputs manually, I’m trying to keep it simple for the time being.

  2. I moved the address as suggested and updated to the button bar. Great suggestions and are appreciated! I would like to do a business summary, but would need to get the businesses to actually interact which appears to be an uphill battle.

  3. The blue text does lead to a form, so I modified the button features to make it more clear as a clickable option.
