Hello experts and mates!
I need your help to combine 2 identical columns just like Glide did in previous (but I don’t know how to do that again):
It will show like this in the Data tab:
I need your guidance how to do that intentionally
Thank you for your kindness to help me!
Unfortunately, you can only do that with Google Sheet tables…
Use a Make Array column to join them into an array.
I understand what he mean. I use the multiple roles method with Google Sheet.
In Google Sheet, when you create let’s say 4 columns with the same name and a number incrementing (Role 1, Role 2, Role 3, Role n), Glide will make a “basic make array” column that you can also use as the role of the user. Meaning that you can add multiple roles to a user.
Make array is a computed column and can’t be use for row owners. Basic make array can.
Actually I did that on the Google Sheet, make 2 column named: Sektor 1 and Sektor 2. But this time Glide doesn’t seem to automatically make that “Basic Make Array”. I have refreshed the page several times.
The position of the columns in the Google Sheet is: ‘Sektor 1’, ‘Another Column’, …, ‘Sektor 2’. Do I have to re-arrange it side by side to make the magic happens?
Yes, they must be next to each other.
I’ve tried it, and yes, that little magic happens! Now I understand a little deeper about how Glide sees the Google Sheet columns.
Thanks for your quick response, @Jeff_Hager and @MaximeBaker . Cheers.
