I am currently on the free plan but planning to upgrade to Pro to link my own domain. At that point I am also going to update the name of the app to have my branded name and logo.
What’s going to happen with all the users that are currently on the app - will they need to re-install the app?

Yes, because you will want to direct them to the new domain and although they can still access from the glide domain if you don’t change it, I assume you want them to go to your new domain but that’s your choice. I personally always opt to set up custom domain before inviting more than a few people to my apps to avoid this disruption. Of course I understand that your use case might be different and you might be trying to build up a user base before going Pro.
