I’m trying to add up numbers from a math column by creating another rollup column and choosing ‘sum’ but it doesn’t show that as an option. It seems you only get sum when it’s a number column? You would think a math column would allow you to sum what’s in it?
For anyone else who struggles with this, I figured out a workaround. The math column has to have an equation of some kind in it. In my case, I had it just converting another column that was an OpenAI response of a number into a $ number. It wouldn’t let me do a rollup just based on that. But I messed with it by just multiplying by 1 and then it worked. Now I can do a rollup and ‘sum’ on this value.
