Cant invite new Team Members on free account

Hi Everyone,

I’m hoping someone can find the magic sauce / solution quickly to this. I’m a uni lecturer and I have a few hundred students running up against this problem.

Glide allowed 2 Members per Team while using the Free account … until last week.

What my students are encountering is the limit has been dropped to 1 (themsleves). When they try to add myself to their team (so I can mark their work) they are getting a “You have reached the account limit”.

These are accounts where the student has Verified their email and updated their Team name.

This is what is used to look like…

but instead they are getting

My questions are:

  • Is this a new limitation? If so it effectively kills off Glide as an option
  • Is there a work around? The restricted accounts have access to the Glide AI Agent, I don’t want them to use it so they develop their own thing - they’re tough and the assignment is not that hard.

Thanks in advance,

Keith

Yes, that is a limitation of the new free plan. I think the best option in your case would be to have your students publish their Apps as private templates (I believe this is still possible on the free plan), and then you could copy them into your own team for checking.
