Can't figure out relationships

I’m trying to add a column on one table that references a column on another table but I can’t seem to change the value it pulls in. I thought it would work like vlookup so I could search on name but pull in the data for access level however this doesn’t seem possible. If I search on name, how can I access the additional fields?

Am I missing something?

The relation just show that there’s a row being returned. To access the values, you use a lookup on that relation.
